Sublimation is a versatile digital printing method which allows the ink to be printed into the fabric and not on it; Sublimation can only be done on 100% polyester, white shirts. With screen printing, because the setup is so messy and complicated it is best for doing orders or 12 or more. With sublimation you can get 1 or more shirts done but it can be pricey, and like I said before it can only be done on 100% polyester white t-shirts. For smaller runs being less the 12, they best way to go is vinyl. Vinyl printing is when a polyurethane vinyl is cut into a design and then heat applied to a shirt.

Below are 2 examples of custom t-shirt printing that are done in vinyl. If your husband is a gamer the shirt below is the perfect gift for him. It is a black t-shirt with white vinyl.
