Custom Acrylic Screen Printing

If you’ve tried custom screen printing in the past and not really enjoyed the feel of your print because it was too stiff or dense then you probably weren’t getting custom acrylic screen printing. If you had gotten custom acrylic screen printing then you’d surely be raving about how soft and luxurious your print feels because you’d basically be feeling the fabric more than the ink! It’s all because acrylic screen printing uses specially formulated water based inks that allow you to get ultra-soft hand to your prints without compromising color or quality at all.

Often you’ll find that typical screen printing is done with plastisol inks, which are fine for plenty of uses, however they don’t feel as good for certain lightweight fabrics, fashion prints, and all over coverage designs. Plastisol inks lack a solvent and are comprised of micro-plastic solids which means when you send them through the dryer to cure the print feels tougher and thicker. Acrylic inks are created differently so that you can get a soft touch while still giving you solid color and fantastic coverage. To be honest, acrylic screen printing is really the only way to do all over screen prints since you’ll be covering most of the garment with ink and you don’t want it to feel like a leaden robe!
