Custom Sublimation Shirts

Are you in the market for customized shirts?  These days, there are a lot of ways to go about creating custom shirts.  Some methods use materials like thread, patches, and rhinestones to decorate blank garments.  Other methods apply dyes or pigments to the clothing in the shape of an image to create a print.  One particular method that is constantly growing in popularity is dye sublimation printing.  Custom sublimation shirts are quite the hot ticket item because they can be printed with practically any image you can think of.

Custom Sublimation Shirts

Custom sublimation shirts can be produced in two ways: by sublimation onto a pre-made garment or by sublimating raw fabric and then assembling it into a garment; the latter is also known as cut and sew manufacturing.   For both ways, the process starts the same.  Artwork is printed out of a sublimation printer on a special sheet of transfer paper using a heat-reactive dye.  The transfer sheet is then placed onto the garment, making sure it is as flat as possible, and together they are put into a press.  The press administers high heat and pressure for a brief time which causes the dye to be released from the sheet as a vapor.

First we would need the artwork in a format that we can use, and then we would separate the artwork by how many colors is in the design, for example, one color if it is a one color design all the way up to six colors. We then would take these layers of color and print them on the shirt one at a time to get the desired effect you are going for on the shirt. We have many in house ink colors that you can choose from and also some fun inks like glitter, and glow in the dark to just name a few. There are many different things that go into how embroidery is done. You have many different thread colors that you can choose from for your contract embroidery design. There are a few things to remember for your wholesale embroidery job. First you have to have a design that is fit for contract embroidery. By this I mean the design has to be the right specs for us to use. It cannot be too small nor have intricate details because it might not be clear when it is embroidered.

Wholesale embroidery is priced based on how many stitches make up the design. We have to digitize the design to know how many stitches there are and also use that on the machines to embroider the design.  If you have the same logo for an order but want the background filled in rather than the shirt showing through, that will be a different price even though it is the same design. Once we digitize a logo that is only a one time charge, if you want to get that logo on a shirt later on it will already be created. We have many different size hoops big ones down to small ones so we can embroider any size logo that fits in with our requirements.
