Something that will never go out of style is an embroidered hat. Embroidered hats have been around for a very long time. If you are thinking about getting some hats customized, I would always recommend going with embroidery over anything else. If you have looked at any Major League Baseball players hats you will notice that they are all embroidered. It is not too often that you will come across a screen printed hat (which some people do have). Most of all it is a personal preference thing on how you would like to have you hats customized.

You can have a lot of fun when creating your own embroidered caps. You can have just about anything you would like embroider onto your hats. Another cool thing about choosing to do embroidered hats is that you can so as many colors in your logo as you would like to and it won’t affect the pricing. That is one great thing about embroidery, that the price is based on the stitch count and not how many colors that you would want in your logo. Another thing that is good to remember when you choose to do embroidered caps is that you do not want to go over 2 inches high with your logo. But then again you can do a lot with 2 inches.

Applique

There are a lot of ways to express your creativity with garment decoration.  You can use colors, words, and subjects to convey your personality.  Your choice of decoration also impacts the overall look.  If you opt for screen printing, you can achieve crisp, bold graphics on garments.  If you go with embroidery you can get classic customization and personalized clothing.  Sublimation is great for photo-realistic or high definition images.  A major difference that manifests in these services is texture.  Texture can be a big part of a custom garment.  If you are looking to incorporate texture into your designs, you should consider applique.

Applique

Applique is a straight-forward way to decorate garments, but it can be quite effective.  For just one example, imagine a varsity jacket and how important it looks with its various patches.  It is a classic look that continues to be impressive in modern times.  You too can achieve that effect with applique.  There are two ways in which this fabric based decoration can be applied to a garment, with adhesive and heat or by stitching.  This usually comes with an adhesive on the back that lets you use heat to stick it on.

Alternatively, the fabric based design can be embroidered onto a garment.  Since the goal is texture, embroidery plus a large fabric design would be the ideal choice.  It is sturdy and durable so the tackle twill will last a long time.  Another benefit with using this method of decoration is that it can be cost effective for bigger designs.  It could get rather expensive if you wanted a full back embroidered design on many custom pieces.  to work around that problem, you can have large fabric based design that is stitched onto a garment for fractions of the cost.

Contract Embroidery

There are many different things that go into how embroidery is done. You have many different thread colors that you can choose from for your contract embroidery design. There are a few things to remember for your wholesale embroidery job. First you have to have a design that is fit for contract embroidery. By this I mean the design has to be the right specs for us to use. It cannot be too small nor have intricate details because it might not be clear when it is embroidered.

Wholesale embroidery is priced based on how many stitches make up the design. We have to digitize the design to know how many stitches there are and also use that on the machines to embroider the design.  If you have the same logo for an order but want the background filled in rather than the shirt showing through, that will be a different price even though it is the same design. Once we digitize a logo that is only a one time charge, if you want to get that logo on a shirt later on it will already be created. We have many different size hoops big ones down to small ones so we can embroider any size logo that fits in with our requirements.

Custom T-shirt Printing

Custom t-shirt printings are t-shirts that are printed with your own personal design or artwork. You can get your t-shirts screen printed, sublimated, or you can even get custom t-shirt printing in vinyl.

Custom T-shirt Printing

Screen printing is when screens that are in frames are coated with a photosensitive emulsion, dried with a light and then burned with the artwork. They are then loaded up onto a screen printing press and covered with ink. Sublimation is a versatile digital printing method which allows the ink to be printed into the fabric and not on it; Sublimation can only be done on 100% polyester, white shirts. With screen printing, because the setup is so messy and complicated it is best for doing orders or 12 or more. With sublimation you can get 1 or more shirts done but it can be pricey, and like I said before it can only be done on 100% polyester white t-shirts. For smaller runs being less the 12, they best way to go is vinyl. Vinyl printing is when a polyurethane vinyl is cut into a design and then heat applied to a shirt.

Below are 2 examples of custom t-shirt printing that are done in vinyl. If your husband is a gamer the shirt below is the perfect gift for him. It is a black t-shirt with white vinyl. Not only can you get your custom t-shirt done in one color vinyl the other t-shirt is done in 2 colors. It is a Navy t-shirt with White and Green vinyl.
