Spangles are kind of like sequins or rhinestones, but they’re different enough to get their own name. Spangles are flat, unlike rhinestones, and they can be heat applied to a garment in a snap as opposed to sequins which are generally sewn on. When you run your hand over your spangled garments you won’t feel that scratchy or bumpy texture you’d expect from sequins and rhinestones and that’s a major selling point.
