Products that you see every day out and about are designed and produced using the technology of the Sublimation Print.  Things like Competition Bicycle Jerseys, Yoga Pants, Biker Shorts and Sports Bras are all embellished using Sublimation Print technology.

The process of creating a Sublimation Print is both scientific and artistic.  The science behind a quality Sublimation Print involved synthetic fabrics like polyester, spandex, satin, rayon, nylon etc … and custom dye sublimation inks that turn to vapor at a specific temperature, to then cool down and solidify within fabric fibers.

The art behind the Sublimation Print comes from brilliantly colored designs, vivid images, crisp corners, smooth curves and the know how on exactly how to piece all of that together to produce an amazing work of art that can be worn on a T-Shirt, Hoodie or other garment.

Most Sublimation Print work done today is done in a cut and sew environment.  This is a production process where panels of fabric are cut, dye sublimated and then sewn into the finished garment.  This type of production method ensures that everything on the garment from seam to seam is decorated with the design.  This method of Sublimation Print is preferred.

The secondary method of Sublimation Print involves the use of already completed garments, i.e. hoodies, T-Shirts or tanks that are already sewn into the finished product.  Experienced Sublimation Printing contractors can still decorate these garments with a high degree of success.

Using Sublimation Printing on already sewn garments will have some nuances that need to be accepted, and talking with a sublimation expert can help you understand what to expect.
