Surfboard Crew

I’m sure you took one look at surfboard crew and was wondering what in the world it could possibly be. Well surfboard crews are oversized sweatshirt like shirts that have printed words that span from shoulder to shoulder on the back. “Wait well isn’t that exactly what a billboard crew is?” You are not wrong there, they are pretty much the same shirt except with the surfboard crews instead of it being just one color like the billboard crews are surfboard crews are two colors, and the back panel is one color while the rest of the shirt is another. Also, unlike the billboard crew, surfboard crews have a pocket on the left chest which is also the same color as the back panel. Surfboard crews are newer versions of the billboard crews.

Surfboard Crew

Surfboard crews are available in a select amount of colors which are aqua/fuchsia, fuchsia/green, hot pink/blue, mint/pink, navy/blue, and navy/hot pink. There may only be a select few colors that you can actually get the surfboard crew but you can get your printing in any color you would like, from black to red. Also you can get your printing done on the back panel, the pocket on the left chest and you can also get the sleeves of the surfboard crew printed as well. There are many things you can come up with to get printed on your surfboard crews. Say you are part of a sorority; you can get your sorority name printed on the back and your sorority crest printed on the pocket on the left chest. Or maybe you are looking for a trendy gift for your daughter and a couple of her friends for when they graduate from college. Relabeling T-shirts

Did you just open up a shop and looking for someone to re-label your t-shirts that you plan on selling? Or do you have no idea what re-labeling t-shirts is or maybe you do and have no idea where to find someone who offers re-labeling t-shirts? Well first let me tell you what re-labeling means. Re-labeling is when you remove a label out of a shirt or clothing product and replace it with your very own label. There are only two ways to remove the tag so you can start the relabeling process. The first way is to unstitch the collar where the tag is, take out the tag and replace with your own tag and then sew the collar back together. The second way is to get as close as you can to the stitches with a pair of scissors and cut the tag off. Either way will work but you need to be careful so you don’t damage the shirt.

Relabeling T-shirts

There are also a couple ways you can re-label your t-shirts as well. You can just use a regular old normal tag or you can use screen printing or vinyl for your tag. A lot of people choose vinyl or screen printing for re-labeling because many people don’t like the itchiness of the tags but when using that you need to be careful because if you have a light shirt you may be able to see the vinyl/screen printed tag through the shirt. Relabeling

I’m sure you took one look at the words Relabeling and thought what in the world does that mean? Well in short Relabeling is when you cut a tag out of a shirt or article of clothing and replace it with a tag of your own. So say you had a bunch of shirts and there tags said “Hanes” and you wanted the tag to say something else, you would cut out the Hanes tag and replace it with whatever tag you wanted, pretty simple right?

There are two ways you can remove the tags for Relabeling. You can unstitch the collar and remove the tag that way or you can just cut the tag out with a pair of scissors. When cutting the tag out of a shirt you want to be very careful not to damage the product by cutting a hole in it or not cutting the tag close enough to the collar. There are a couple different ways you can relabel/de-label. You can have a normal tag or you can get AFM which can either be screen printing or vinyl. A lot of people choose to get the screen printing or vinyl because many people don’t like having an itchy tag on their clothes.

You also can choose whatever you want to be said on your tag, to your business name, or a design or business logo. Now the question to ask is who can relabel/de-label my clothes and where are they? Now you are probably asking yourself what is large format silk screen printing? Large format silk screen printing is not very commonly practiced in the printing industry. The equipment can be expensive and hard to get a hold of so most of the large format screen printing is done using non-screen printing, which would be sublimation. But here at AMBRO Manufacturing we offer unique large format screen printing as well as traditional screen printing.

Large Format Silk Screen Printing

The process of large format silk screen printing begins with creating a specialized jumbo screen, which we produce ourselves in house. The screens are custom built for each job. Once the screen is developed our artist converts the artwork on a specialized digital film. After that process the image is transferred to specialized screens through a large formant UV curing system. After the screen dry they are mounted on our large format screen printing presses and the printing can begin. Large format silk screen printing is the same as traditional screen printing except on a larger scale.

Screen printing is when nylon screens that are in metal frames are coated with a photosensitive emulsion, dried with a light and then burned with the artwork. Once those processes with the screens are done they are ready to be loaded up onto the screen printing press and covered with ink. After they are covered with ink they are then transferred to a fabric of your choosing, in this case it would be a onesie.
