Contract Acrylic Screen Printing

Contract Acrylic Screen Printing

Custom screen printing has been around for a very long time, but the technology and methods have vastly changed over the years.  No one method is perfect for every possible application, but some methods have many benefits that outweigh the drawbacks.  Let’s take contract acrylic screen printing for example.  Many screen printed designs get printed with plastisol inks because they’re cheaper and easier to use and reuse repeatedly, but it’s not the only option; you can do your screen printing with acrylic inks which are formulated differently to leave a soft feel on the garment!

Contract Acrylic Screen Printing

Plastisol inks are reusable because they don’t contain a solvent that will evaporate when left out, but that means you need to dry them using heat.  The heat cures the ink which stiffens the print and makes it feel a bit heavy, especially if you’re doing a lot of coverage or multiple colors.  Acrylic inks are different because they contain a solvent that is susceptible to drying out so you can’t reclaim excess inks after a job is completed.  The tradeoff is that contract acrylic screen printing won’t have the same hand a plastisol print would.  It feels lightweight and soft without sacrificing the brightness of your colors, so it’s perfect for fashion prints or flowy garments that you don’t want to weigh down.

So where can you find custom contract acrylic screen printing services for your own designs?  You can come to us at AMBRO Manufacturing!  We are a contract apparel customization company with many different services to offer you and we have over 30 years in business to ensure that you receive excellent quality printing.  You can easily contact us to place an order, or to find out more about our company and all of the customization services we can provide, by email or by giving us a call at (908) 806-8337.
