Here at AMBRO Manufacturing we custom print on a variety of things including flags. We use basic golf flags that are made out of polyester and you can either get them sublimated or screen printed with a custom design of your choosing.

Custom Printed Flags

Not quite sure whether to go with screen printing or sublimation? Well let’s get a quick background on each. Sublimation is a digital printing method for transferring images onto something, which in this case would be flags. This unique ability and is initiated by heat and controlled with pressure and time. When the heat and pressure are applied the dye becomes a gas and absorbs into the flag becoming a part of it. Sublimation is weightless and doesn’t fade or crack and last as long as the flag lasts. Even though sublimation is long lasting it can only be done on things made of 100% polyester and white flags. But you can sublimate the flags any color you would like from black to purple.

Screen printing is the printing process where screens are coated with a photosensitive emulsion, dried with a light, and then burned with the custom artwork. After those processes they are loaded up onto the printing press and covered in ink, and then they are transferred to the flag. Some down falls with screen printing is that eventually the print may crack and fade and we have a minimum of 12 pieces.

Custom T-shirt Printing

Screen printing is when screens that are in frames are coated with a photosensitive emulsion, dried with a light and then burned with the artwork. They are then loaded up onto a screen printing press and covered with ink. Sublimation is a versatile digital printing method which allows the ink to be printed into the fabric and not on it; Sublimation can only be done on 100% polyester, white shirts. With screen printing, because the setup is so messy and complicated it is best for doing orders or 12 or more. With sublimation you can get 1 or more shirts done but it can be pricey, and like I said before it can only be done on 100% polyester white t-shirts. For smaller runs being less the 12, they best way to go is vinyl. Vinyl printing is when a polyurethane vinyl is cut into a design and then heat applied to a shirt.

Below are 2 examples of custom t-shirt printing that are done in vinyl. If your husband is a gamer the shirt below is the perfect gift for him. It is a black t-shirt with white vinyl. Not only can you get your custom t-shirt done in one color vinyl the other t-shirt is done in 2 colors. It is a Navy t-shirt with White and Green vinyl. In case you are not familiar with screen printing or embroidery here is a little background on each one. Screen printing is the printing process where ink is pressed into a screen and onto fabric, in this case that fabric is your professional t-shirt. It is then heated to 325 degrees to dry the ink and create a bond with the t-shirt. You can choose your professional t-shirt to be any color and you can also choose the ink to be any color as well. Embroidery is the handicraft of decorating fabric or other materials with needle and thread. So if you wanted to go with embroidery you can get a polo shirt in let’s say, black. You can get the left chest embroidered with your company logo in the company colors and on the right chest you can get your name embroidered with say white thread. There are many different ways you can get your professional t-shirts embroidered.

An example for screen printing is you could get a black button down short sleeve shirt and get your company logo screen printed on the full back in white ink and you could also get your company name screen printed on the left chest.
